Annual Events


The Brownville Concert Series - The Series offers nationally recognized performers presenting concerts and cabarets monthly during the months of March through December.  Call 402.825.3331 or visit www.BrownvilleConcertSeries.com.


Spirit of Brownville - Coming to town on a weekend between Memorial Day & Labor Day?  Be sure to reserve a spot on the sightseeing and dinner cruise aboard the Spirit.  Cruises run every Friday, Saturday & Sunday between Memorial Day and Labor Day starting at 5:30 and typically conclude by 7 pm..  For reservations or information call 402.825.6441 or visit www.River-Inn-Resort.com.


Cars & Coffee - First and third Saturday mornings of the month at 9 am, April through October, at the Brownville Market.  Call 660-253-0291.

Arboretum "Spruce Up Day" - Enjoy getting your hands a little dirty?  Join us for our annual clean up day at the Gov. Furnas Arboretum on Arbor Day, Friday April 28th.  Call 402-825-6637 for more details.


60th Annual Brownville Spring Flea Market - May 27-29, 2017.  Over 300 vendors arrive with antiques, plants, collectibles and food.  Visit www.BrownvilleHistoricalSociety.org for more infomation. 


Whiskey Run Creek Friday Night Summer Music Series - Every Friday night from May 5th through August 25th swing by the winery to celebrate the region's musical heritage.  Performers change each week so check the calendar or Facebook to see who is playing each week.  No advance reservations required.  Call 402.825.4601 or visit www.whiskeyruncreek.com.

Annual Furnas Arboretum Garden Tour - Activities are scheduled throughout the day, featuring Nebraska Statewide Arboretum representatives.  The date for 2017 is June 10 from 10 am to 4 pm.  Call 402.825.6637 for more information.
