| Love is in the air and romance is on board at the River Inn Valentine Gala on Saturday, February 13, 2010. Take the time to indulge your loved one.

5 pm: Wine, cheese, roses & a concert
7 pm: Supper includes your choice of Crab-stuffed chicken breast with Mornay sauce or Braised beef short ribs and side dishes that inspire love such as asparagus bundles, shrimp cocktail, oysters, hearts of romaine and artichoke salad, long grain and wild rice, wheat rolls with honey butter and to finish…a Chocolate Lovers dessert bar!

| Romance and travel will be featured at the Brownville Lyceum Forum at 2 p.m. on Valentine’s Day, Sunday, February 14. Leading the discussion will be Larry and Carol Hall of Lincoln, founders of Hall Travel. Together they have authored a book entitled Never a Dull Moment, the story of their life together and of their travel adventures. Their group tours took them extensively around the lower 48 states, Alaska, Canada, and Europe. In addition to group tours, Larry has a 20-year career in radio and television in Omaha and Lincoln. He will share stories about people he has interviewed including Johnny Carson and Myron Floren. |
