The closure of the U.S. 136 Hwy. bridge over the Missouri River at Brownville, Nebraska is scheduled to take place Friday, September 17th at 6:00 p.m. The bridge is set to reopen on Sunday, September 19th. If the work is completed earlier the bridge could reopen on Saturday, September 18th.

Cruise the river on the Spirit of Brownville, buy handmade brooms or stroll along any of our safe, beautiful nature trails.

Brownville is just 10 minutes west of I-29, take Exit 110, on US 136. It is easily accessible from major cities such as Omaha, Lincoln, Kansas City and St. Joseph.
